A $20 Lie and an Automated Nightmare: My 'Next-Day' Delivery Experience 😠
I'm writing this as a warning to anyone considering buying glasses online. My experience was infuriating, and I feel compelled to share it. This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. I paid an extra $19.95 for "next day delivery" on an order that took a week to arrive. After being stuck in an endless loop of automated chats and phone systems, I finally managed to reach a human, determined to get my money back and let them know how unacceptable their service is.
Customer: I finally got a real person. I paid $19.95 for next-day delivery on order [Order Number], and it took a week. I’ve sent six emails with no reply. Your automated system is a nightmare. I want a refund for the shipping fee you didn't earn.
CS Rep: I am very sorry to hear about the delay and the trouble you've had reaching us. That is certainly not the experience we want for our customers. Can you please confirm the order number for me?
Customer: Yes, it's [Order Number]. Placed on the 18th, delivered on the 24th. That's not "next day." It's shocking that I had to pretend to place a new order just to speak with someone.
