Buyer Beware: My Customer Service Nightmare Over a Fake 'Next-Day Delivery' Promise 😡
I'm writing this to warn everyone about my terrible online shopping experience. I needed glasses quickly and their site promised "next day delivery," so I paid the extra $19.95 fee. But hours later, I was told it would take days. Trying to get help was a nightmare. My direct feeling and conclusion about this experience is that This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. After being forced through endless automated menus and chat bots, I finally reached a person, which is why I felt compelled to have this conversation and demand a refund for a service I never received.
Customer: I paid $19.95 for next-day delivery on my order, but I received an email saying it will take 3 business days. I want my shipping fee refunded immediately. CS Rep: I understand your frustration, sir. Let me look up your order. I see it is currently in the processing stage. The next-day delivery applies once the item ships from our facility. Customer: That's unacceptable and misleading. Your site said "eligible for next day delivery" when I ordered. The lenses are plano, there's nothing to "produce." You didn't provide the service I paid for. Refund my money. CS Rep: I apologize for the confusion, sir. Company policy requires me to submit your request to the billing department for review. It will be up to them to issue the refund. Customer: "Up to them?" You charged me for a service you aren't providing. This is exactly the problem. Your customer service is horrible. Just put the money back on my card. CS Rep: Sir, I have submitted the request as required. There is nothing more I can do from my end. The billing department will be in contact.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
